Deadline for issue no: 3 - 5 august 2008
The next issue will be published 29 august |
Guidelines for authors:
Article content:
The content must be supplied with as few errors as possible.
The minimum requirement is checking the text with a spelling checker.
As a rule, an article should not exceed three printed pages including illustrations, although exceptions can be made if appropriate.
In practice, this corresponds to 6–7 pages of text in A4 format in Word, using a font size of 10 points. If your article is larger than this, consultation with the editorial staff is necessary.
Woolly or obscure language should be avoided.
The editors request that authors always bear in mind that their articles may include terms or concepts that require explanation.
Such explanations can be placed in footnotes or separate paragraphs. Authors are expected to provide a brief biographical sketch, accompanied by a photo if possible.
|
Illustrations:
Illustrations should be supplied in BMP format (in colour).
If this is not possible, they can be supplied in JPG format. Otherwise, please contact the editorial staff.
The file size is not important.
Drawings produced by the author can be redone by the layout department.
The author’s wishes will be taken into account in this process.
|
Author’s rights:
The editors reserve the right to adapt the text.
The article remains the intellectual property of the author.
By placing an article in our magazine, the author grants permission for repeat publication.
The author may use the article for his or her own purposes after the article has been published and may make reference to the article published in Blaise Pascal Magazine.
|
Publication and submission deadline:
Articles must be submitted by the agreed date, which is announced with each issue of the magazine.
The editors reserve the right to not publish any article submitted after the deadline. No liabilities arise from this.
